What's on in Newport - Events website launch

We are delighted to announce the launch of What's on in Newport, an events website showcasing upcoming events in the Newport area.

Working closely with Newport City Council, we designed and developed on an online platform to promote and share upcoming events in the area. The website is a user-friendly space that not only simplifies event promotion for organisers, but allows users to effortlessly browse and filter through a range of events in their area.

Event organisers / website users can also submit events on the website, providing event information, addresses, photos and booking links. The submission process is streamlined, allowing the team at the Council to efficiently manage user submitted events.

Beyond designing and developing the website, we also designed the branding, identity and new logo for What's on City of Newport, providing brand assets and translating this new community brand throughout the website.

We integrated bilingual support for English and Welsh seamlessly into the website. Users can effortlessly toggle between languages, ensuring that the platform is inclusive and accessible to all members of the community. Events can be submitted in both English and Welsh.

Initial user feedback has been extremely positive, with a noticeable increase in event submissions and user engagement. We look forward to continuing to work with Newport and seeing the platform grow.
